July 24, 2020: Fauci reflected on his earlier statements, explaining that the initial guidance was to save masks for healthcare providers but acknowledged the importance of masks given the extent of asymptomatic spread. (IOW, he claimed he lied).
No he didn't lie.

Again his statements were taken out of context.

Like I said, I can't have a serious conversation about masks with someone who is hell-bent on playing these "gotcha" games.
