Ahmed Fouad Mostafa Eldidi, who was arrested a few weeks ago after he allegedly planned to commit a terror attack, had been granted a visitor visa by the Trudeau government in 2018, and quickly made a refugee claim after arriving in Canada. He was then granted refugee status in 2019, became a permanent resident in 2021 and a Canadian citizen in 2024. This was allowed to happen even though Eldidi is alleged to have appeared dismembering a prisoner in an ISIS video published in 2015. conservative.ca
