I think that atmospheric river will mostly stay south of the border, as the only real rain in our forecast for the next week is overnight tomorrow into Friday and unlike with atmospheric rivers, temperatures are staying below normal here.

And the rest of the forecast has at least some precip forecast every day, so with the temperatures staying abnormally low, we might, alas, get some snow.

At least the skiers will be happy.
