The narrator points out how PooTin and his oligarchs have done a good job trying to hide the warning signs, but they can't hide them all.
I will say this, though. I'm not sure the video mentions this, but I have it on good authority that the RuZZian people still support the war because they're being bribed into it, starting with those from the poorest regions. It's not uncommon to see wives and family members of soldiers walking around with luxury goods, all paid for by PooTin's sign-on bonuses and death payments.
However, these payments, combined with a shortage of workers, is causing inflation across society.
Meanwhile, the video mentions that you simply can't have a functioning economy when the interest rate is above 20%, especially when said interest rates aren't having an effect on rising inflation.
Right now, the people of RuZZia are enjoying their extra cash because their wages are rising faster than inflation, but that cannot last. RuZZia is already running low on its sovereign wealth fund, and although that fund will never really go to zero, it can go low enough to force Moscow to start printing money, which the video argues is already being done.
But you might ask, "Why should we give a Brandon? Trump said he would end the war before he entered office! And now that he's in office, he's going to end the war in 100 days, just like he said he would!"
It's because if Trump's goal is to end the war, he needs to get RuZZia to the bargaining table. (Ukraine is already willing to negotiate; a poll recently found that 50% of Ukrainians now favor an immediate ceasefire.) But PooTin is still unwilling to negotiate, because in his mind, he is still winning the war.
The sooner the financial collapse happens, the sooner PooTin will accept terms for a ceasefire that may even save face for him.
