Here's my formula for payback in Miles:



Where
P = Price of the Modification or exchange for New Car
Mo = Old Mileage
Mn = New Mileage
Ch = Cost of Fuel
Cl = Cost of Fuel
(note: Ch and Cl might be the same)

There will need to be some adjustments to equate gallon price of gasoline to kilowatts of electricity, but it can be done. I'll leave that up to all of you!
