Yes. Move the chickens back into safe indoor caged facilities where they won't come into contact with their infected wild cousins outside. That's where most eggs came from until recently.

Thanks to cage free laws instigated by CA and copied by other states, their happy little hens can run around outside now and die miserable deaths from the avian flu.

Dead birds don't lay eggs and supply shortages = high prices. Econ 101..
