I wish!

The snow just kept on coming and highways, schools, universities, etc. are shut down and people are being asked to stay off the roads if at all possible. We also set a new power consumption record for the province yesterday.

BTW, many of Vancouver's inhabitants are immigrants from warmer places who have no idea how to drive in the snow. And because it doesn't show very often, many have not shelled out the high cost for snow tires I used to enjoy tooling around in my VW camper van past all the stuck cars every time it snowed, particularly when there was a hill involved. VWs have the engine over the drive wheels so deliver excellent traction.

At least the snowfall is pretty well done, but there is no relief from this Arctic air in sigh for southern BC.
