ODV, EDV, OGC, MAI

I am sure Osisko Development aka ODV is closely watching the drilling being carried out by Golden Cariboo Resources in the Halo Zone on its Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine property, because that property shares a long border with ODV's Cariboo property in central BC. Indeed, the latest drill results from GCC have extended the gold mineralization even closer to the boundary. Given the way GCC's geologists have described the Halo Zone it would be a surprise if it did not extend on to ODV's holdings. ODV would have to build an access road to do their own drilling, so I hope they can work out a deal with GCC to jointly extend the drilling onto Cariboo.

FWIW, TD has new gold mining analysts and they released a slew of new coverage on a number of companies.

This included a new analyst report on west African gold miner Endeavour Mining aka EDV. Citing their belief that EDV is entering an FCF inflection point -- they estimate FCF for 2025 at ~$850M -- and a clear path to increase production in the coming years plus discounted evaluation of about 20% relative to peers, offset by country risk, they initiated EDV at Buy with a target of $338.

TD also issued a new analyst report on Oceangold aka OGC. They are looking for more consistency from the Halle mine in North Carolina this year, but citing growing FCF generation, a growth pipeline, and a discounted evaluation relative to peers, TD initiated OGC at Buy with a target of $5.50.

The IKN newsletter highlighted something I should have made more of that explains why Mexican gold miner Minera Alamos aka MAI's share price has finally 'left the penalty box', making it into the mid-30s. Indeed, many Mexican miners have had a good week in the wake of the decision by the Mexican mining bureaucracy SEMATNAT to award an EIA Amendment Permit to AGI for its PDA project, the first such permit awarded by SEMARNAT since former president AMLO issued a moratorium. As it happens, this is exactly the type of permit MAI is waiting for that will allow it to expand the leach pads at Santana. Likewise the Permit needed to develop their next project at Cerro de Oror....
