This plan will allow Gaza to move forward because it will have investment without which it cannot survive.
Sounds like Neoconservatism 2.0.

I really doubt the Saudis will be on board with this plan. Egypt and Jordan definitely won't be on board with the taking in of Gazan refugees.

Trump really has to sweeten the pot with these three nations, not to mention many other key players in the Middle East (e.g. Syria, Türkiye).

And given Trump's bombastic foreign policy, he's more likely to impose tariffs on these nations than make a deal with them.

Finally, there's the domestic question, namely whether the American public would be OK with us occupying Gaza, putting soldiers at risk, spending tens or even hundreds of billions of dollars, all toward an egotistical boondoggle.

No matter what, this plan is st00pid beyond belief. It's unworkable without a level of diplomacy that is way beyond Trump.
