The only way to actually balance the budget is to cut Social Security and Medicare, but that's something Trump pledged he would never do.

This as Trump pretends that eliminating USAID will get us much closer to balancing the federal budget.

Right now, the deficit is almost $2 TRILLION PER YEAR.
Slice off $100B, and we'll still be at $1.9T.
What else is DOGE going to cut, and will it amount to $1.9T? Fat chance.

Which is true, but it's also a complete distraction, which is typical of liars like Trump and Musk.
This is because Trump has convinced the cultists that all we need to do is cut the fat, and the budget will be balanced.
That's completely wrong, and the cultists will soon figure that out once Trump's first year of his second term is up.
Of course, they'll do nothing but blame Brandon for Trump' overpromising and underdelivering, because to them, they never gave a shit about balanced budgets in the first place.
