John, Consider for a moment that Sadam is taken out or just punished. What do you think his neighbors(forget Kuwait, I'm talking heavyweights like Egypt, Jordan, Siria, Iran) will do? Mubarak is on record today saying he couldn't control his country if we bomb. Egypt was the most friendly state to Israel until the increasingly radical Muslim uprising. Yet, OTOH giving in would elevate Sadam to god-like status in the region. He stood up to the Great Satan and won! This will give radical elements all the impetus they need to pursue anihilation of Israel...the continued goal. If you have a solution then the UN has a job for you! PK
