There is a bit of dispute about Gates' memory quote. He says he "would never say such a short-sighted thing." I'm not sure whether he was misunderstood, if there was a special context he was saying it in, or if he even said it at all. I think the one about Apple was funny, and really hits home with me, as someone who's on the brink of dropping out of college to pursue other interests.
