Thanks Mannie. It is a very great story.

Anni married by mum's brother, so unfortunately I don't
carry her genes, but it is a wonderful extended family and
they are always happy to hear from their Canadian side.

My mum was the only one of her siblings to immigrate to
Canada. Her brothers and sisters and eventually my
grandmother all settled in New York - Ridgewood, Middle
Village, Queens.

I have fond memories of visiting as a young girl.
