I don't think the phrase "Normalize Indian hate" can be interpreted in any benign way whatsoever.
I would not say it, but I wouldn't fire someone for saying one time, one day, a long time ago, when he was a kid.

We do have free speech here, and while hate speech is entirely legal and a single incident could not be justified for any firing, particularly on twitter. Back whenever it was I guess he could have been banned from Twitter (oh, and I'm sure in the Bay Area he's a pariah, and will have him hassled until he leaves California; such a shithole). The place is full of fucktards.
