| | | COUPLE OF POINTS ON TRUMP ASKING THE SECRET SERVICE FOR INFO ON WOULD-BE ASSASSINS. I've been traveling for the last few days, but on this topic: Yes, the Secret Service, of course, should have ALREADY given Trump everything they know about the two would-be assassins. But the Secret Service wasn't the agency that investigated them. It was the dreaded FBI. In fact, the FBI prevented the USSS from investigating much of anything about the two men who tried to kill Trump. Then acting Director Ron Rowe testified to this fact multiple times during his Congressional appearances, and the FBI backed it up during the one major press conference they had on the topic. If you want a clue on how the FBI is handling assassination attempts and threats against Trump - watch the very unsettling press conference before the inauguration in which David Sundberg, the assistant director in charge of the FBI's Washington Field Office, says the agency is not tracking a known specific threat against Trump to the Inauguration. "We are not currently tracking any specific or credible threats to the Inaugural ceremony or to the Capitol complex," he said. ????What an absurd statement. Trump rightfully booted Sundberg in the recent FBI purge. In the final weeks of the presidential campaign we know that there were multiple assassin teams working in the United States trying to kill Trump. Suddenly, right before the inauguration, there are none that the FBI was tracking?? Maybe "currently tracking" are the key words in that sentence, which appeared to be an admission that they weren't doing their job to protect Trump. So Trump needs @PamBondi @Kash_Patel to crack open the FBI -- and find out why they have close to ZERO information on Thomas Crooks and the foreign apps he was communicating on, and why the best info the public has on Ryan Routh was open-source -- from his social media accounts. Patel needs to get in there and retrieve the information and make as much of it public as soon as possible. Trump also should ask @RonDeSantis and his team of state investigators what they've turned up so far. Why has that local probe on Ryan Routh seemed to have gone dark with no new information released as well? I would trust the DeSantis/Florida probe far more than anything the FBI produces.
