It's not just the pronouns, Inode. The Trump administration has shown nothing but hostility at anything that even remotely smacks of DEI. None of that occurs in a vacuum. You might complain about your daughter getting "cancelled" by family and friends for voting for Trump, but when you celebrate the "other side" getting "cancelled" for reporting on the facts, you are not in favor of free speech.
