Inode, this Substack article confirmed my suspicions regarding Musk's turn toward the dark side: The Trouble with Elon (Sam Harris on Substack) One of the stories that Sam Harris recalls is a bet he made with Musk at the early days of the pandemic. Musk bet that we would not see north of 35K COVID-19 cases in the U.S. Needless to say, Musk lost that bet big time, but he didn't take the loss gracefully. In fact, Musk essentially ghosted his now former friend. I highly recommend reading the entire article. It also describes exactly how I personally feel about Musk. Tenchusatsu
