I didn't see much difference, but that was just in hospitals. The biggest difference was that my staff and I were getting paid about 35% less than our peers in the private sector.

Do you think helping elders get their social security check or Medicare is a real job? Measuring pollutants in waterways? Inspecting meat? Tracking outbreaks of contagious diseases? Controlling airplanes? Would they be real jobs if Elmo hired controllers, at a 25% profit that the government doesn't get?
