I'm always skeptical of companies that put out press releases for quarterly earnings, and decide (why?) to not include a balance sheet. Numbers look great. But something tells me there's more to this story. Organon does not provide GAAP financial measures on a forward-looking basis because the company cannot predict with reasonable certainty and without unreasonable effort, the ultimate outcome of legal proceedings, unusual gains and losses, the occurrence of matters creating GAAP tax impacts, and acquisition-related expenses. Legal proceedings?
