Barron's (Plugged In) mentioned DGN as a takeover play. The article referred to Data General and Wang as "once great mini-computer companies". It says dgn has a large service business and a thriving data-storage arm. It does not mention their NT and Unix server business. Which I think has as much potential as the data storage unit. The NUMA product has a great opportunity in the very large application areas.
As a shareholder of DGN, I think some day the larger computer companies (Sun or H/P) will see the value in DGN.
Maybe after the takeover story is printed 10 times it will really happen.
