That is not true. Most of the press around the world is honest. The reason the right wing calls it fake news is because Trump calls it fake news to hide his constant lying like the 2020 election was stolen from him! The press today is thousands of news outlets. A smart person should watch many news outlets and compare them to get the correct read! I follow the news in many countries like Poland PBS, Germany PBS, Canada PBS, etc and I am educated enough to compare the news they present with my own knowledge of the subjects. And E.g. MSNBC that the right wing loves to hate is really honest! I have been comparing their take on the news with my own knowledge, and it comports. The biggest liars and stupid commentators are on FOX. Politically ignorant people like FOX because it tells them what they want to hear e.g. liberals are bad! < The press these days are generally warmongers, not much different from the days of Pulitzer and Hearst, who started the Spanish-American War just to sell papers.
