There is no real democratic world or countries. The so-called democracies are all various shades of autocracies with small numbers of people demanding we do what they say. We do not allow all our legal aged citizens to vote on bills in our house of commons, even though with modern day computers, we could. If we did, we would not be taxing energy and many other idiotic, wasteful things the Trudeau Liberal/NDP alliance has forced on us.
Coyne's so called democratic world was producing wars all over the globe before Trump came along, 3 weeks ago. Trump appears to be negotiating ways out of these conflicts and trying to establish peace so people can live their lives without threats against their lives.
Trump is not annexing Canada. That is total bullshit It is up to Canada to join up with the States, if we believe it is in our best interests and choose to do so.
Trump is demanding all trade be fair. Canada, and most countries have monetary and non-monetary tariffs (trade barriers) that work against fair trade. So Trump is placing reciprocal, equal tariffs on those countries so fair trade is established.
Trump is not interesting in launching destructive wars against his neighbors. He is asking Greenland if they want to become a U.S. state. It is up to them to decide if it is advantageous to them. He would like to expand military bases already existing on Greenland to stop the aggressive acts of Russia and China.
The U.S. built the Panama canal so Trump wants free access to it and does not want China controlling ports on the canal. So he is demanding a better deal, or he wants control of the canal to revert back to the U.S., who built it in the first place. Panama, as a result, is renegotiating the deals with China.
Trumps openness with the media is stunning. He is making them aware of the things his team is doing and why. He is communicating with the American people daily as well showing them he is doing all the things he campaigned on. He is finding all the corruption and waste from previous administrations, and informing the citizens of all his actions. What a breath of fresh air from all those other, so-called, democracies.
