Radial “Mount Iwate” Patterned Dial for the Grand Seiko Evolution 9 Not thrilled about the price, would have to investigate what discount if any at ADs and then consider used market. But make no mistake, Grand Seiko is doing incredibly high end work at that price point. Honestly unsure what #2 would be at the price point and scale! Most people don't know Grand Seiko operates in a separate dedicated workshop from Seiko proper, and most of those mass production factories have long been spread throughout Asia as Citizen and Casio do as well due to cheaper labor. Even fewer people know that no less than the greatest extant watchmaker himself, Philippe Dufour, traveled to Japan decades ago and worked with Grand Seiko watchmakers back then.
