I wasnt going to say anything about this but now I shall. I remember in my younger days taking a chance with margin. thinking that I could hold on even the share price dropped only to find that I was forced to sell because not only did the share price come down but the brokerage also changed how much percentage margin they would allow on particular stocks so that is an additional risk that you may not have foreseen. a lot of smart people have gone broke using margin. dont be one of them. I know at least two guys who went broke the day the market dropped 25%. yes it can happen.
