RE: I never read industry studies. "Industry book/reports" - not even sure what that means
Industry books are those which may explain its operations better, hopefully from business/investment perspective. I have good chunk of Oil&Gas in my portfolio, therefore i want to have better understanding on topic. FE, *Petroleum Refining: Technology, Economics, and Markets, Sixth Edition* is going to be next book to read
+Considering that I'm new to basically every industry possible(Software development maybe exception), McKinsey reports are helpful to understand past/current trends and generally what's is happening around businesses(I may, as well, gather info in specific company researches/analysis, but it just more convenient for me)
