they are fighting a tough war with cisco...I wonder if they can afford the resources to move into another area Falcon, Good point, and probably the fundamental reason why nothing will happen. It's not that optical data transmission and switching isn't important, it's just that ASND has too much to deal with as it is. You clearly are the CEO type. (And I'm the guy they put in a little cubicle somewhere to dream up crazy ideas.) Gary Korn
