I feel the same way -- management's performance is what counts -- and the current board has allowed management to do its job and do it well. Plenty of shareholders with more "independent" boards undoubtedly wish that their companies could perform as well as Disney has. If performance falters, then the need for new directors would be presented. In the meantime, I believe that the current directors have performed well enough.

An article in yesterday's New York Post discusses the complaining shareholders' views, which obviously differ from my own opinion:
