For anyone interested in the Titanic, this novel was written in 1898, 14 years before the Titanic sunk. Its title is The Wreck of the Titan. The details are eerily close enough to the Titanic's specs and its tragic sinking to make the author nearly a prophet. In the first chapter alone, the Titan is reckoned "unsinkable."
