I don't think your making an informed decision, and certainly not one based on fact. Did you see the chart comparing Mainframe's COST per transaction verses a distributed network and non-distributed? Do you have any experience's with a Mainframe recently? Do you know what a Parallel Sysplex is? and what it brings to the Table? EDS just spent Millions of dollars to combine all of the Data Centers into one large Parallel Sysplex. FDC is currently using Mainframes and MSFDC is planning to make Mainframes the base of their processing engine. Why do you think Microsoft partnered with FDC? (Think mainframe,..yes I know there are other reasons). What would your processing engine look like? 300 HP's? Benny
