Lotus rides Java wave with eSuite Work Place
Orlando, Fla. -- Lotus Development Corp. has a Trojan Horse. The high-flying software subsidiary of International Business Machines Corp. last month announced it had started shipping a new set of integrated business applications designed to run under the popular Sun Microsystems Inc.'s Java. These applications could, in many cases, supplant Microsoft Corp.'s well-entrenched Office 97 suite.
