Anybody with a half a brain would know that a recession is coming by mid year. Given the spending cuts and labor layoffs/firings, that is obvious. It is why I am sitting in T-Bills, SGOV, TLT ( recent) and Money Market fund ( SNSXX).

From a Trump or MAGA standpoint, the sooner the recession the better. You want a recession early on so by the time the Midterms come around, the Conservatives can increase their margins in Congress as the economy recovers.

Furthermore, the question that needs to be raised is who will be hurt the most by a recession? Will it be the working class or stock holders and government workers. Stay tuned for the result there.

The working class are by in large not government workers so my sense is that the elite will be the ones who will get hurt the most.

I expect the decline to be swift and very large. Zero interest rates/QE will be brought back, just in time for the 2026 Midterms.

Eat your heart out, Liberals.
