MXMX Monday announced its TUTOR (To Understand Technology Offer Resources) campaign, an effort to empower students and teachers across the United States with software tools that make learning to use personal computers and the Internet fun, interactive and easy. To launch the TUTOR program, MediaX this week donated hundreds of copies of its newly released multimedia tutorial, "Peter Norton -- PC GURU," to educators and administrators attending the American Council on Education annual meeting in San Francisco. This year's meeting focused on educational technologies and higher education's responsibility to a global society. MediaX is committed to education and anticipates making substantial donations of other MediaX products currently in production in 1998 through the TUTOR program to public schools and adult/senior technology courses.
