Morning Worswick,

Today was kind of a non event day in the markets around here. I really expected worse. SIDBY down 6 sen from 4.62 to 4.56 (thus outperforming the market).

I am still troubled by lack of any progress in Indonesia. Maybe Annan should stop there on his way back from Iraq. hard to believe that in 48 hours he could resolve the whole stand off. There must be some folks in Baghdad saying "whew" tonight.

Then again if for some reason they and Annan have pulled a fast one it puts the U.S. in a very difficult position. It will be interesting to see how the U.N. and , particularly, the U.S. and United Kingdom accept the "new deal".

I am dying to see what happens in the U.S. markets today.

Off to bed for some reading, just received "The New Emperors" from Amazon.com. Nothing from Moe's yet.

Best,
Stitch
