France Shuts Down Right-Wing C8—For “Not Being Diverse Enough”

France just made it clear—if you don’t fall in line, you’re finished. The government is shutting down C8, a massively popular right-wing TV channel, because it wasn’t “diverse enough.” Translation? It dared to challenge the state-approved narrative. Millions of viewers tuned in, but that doesn’t matter. The decision is final—C8 will be gone by next Friday.

France’s top court backed the move, claiming the network failed to meet its obligations and lacked profitability. Since when did profitability determine a channel’s right to exist? This isn’t about contracts. It’s about silencing dissent. The media regulator, Arcom, hit C8 with fines and legal battles until there was nothing left. Their excuse? Protecting “human rights” and “minors.” But somehow, that never applies to the criminals running rampant in France’s migrant-infested cities.

Marine Le Pen and other right-wing voices are calling this what it is—censorship. Free speech in France is now conditional. If the government doesn’t like what you’re saying, you’re done. Europe is fast becoming an authoritarian playground. They claim to fear Russia and China, yet they act just like them—arresting citizens for social media posts while shielding criminals from justice.

The U.S. is washing its hands of this mess, and rightly so. Why should American taxpayers support the EU and NATO when European governments trample their own citizens’ rights? France needs a course correction, fast. If Le Pen doesn’t win the next election, the country may not survive what’s coming.
