It turned out to be 4.7 magnitude earthquake cetnred only a kilometre deep about 50 kilometres north of Vancouver. We get three different kinds of quakes around here, and fortunately this was the least harmful, a crustal quake. There was only scattered damage and no serious injuries, therefore good warning to everyone who lives here to be ready for quakes at all times.
