Speaking of upward trends, this was posted on the Motley Fool board: Subject: Ligand info from a local Author: sundevils Date: 2/19/98 9:30:57 PM (ET) I am watching Ligand carefully. I haven't yet jumped in because I don't know a lot about the industry. But I have a colleague who is dating a Ligand employee. He took time out from work to visit the Ligand facility off I-5 in San Diego. He was amazed at what he saw. He says the labs were incredible facilities. he further said that Ligand is hiring Ph.D.s at a rapid rate.
