Grocery checkout will happen. Optimistically in years, could be decades. My investment thesis does not require grocery checkout - the opportunities in inventory, supply/logistics, consumer interfaces like what QCOM Is doing, checkout and loss prevention/detection in non-grocery, etc. make PI a 10X-20X opportunity. Grocery checkout would be the coup de gras and I can't see anyone but Impinj solving that. The news a major grocer is even looking at it is way ahead of my timeline.
