This is from the Tony Elgindy episode. I didn't defend Tony per se, I defended that he was the only person ever prosecuted for allegedly trading on foreknowledge of 9/11. That's because, according to the government: 1) Tony was shorting the market, and 2) He had transferred money the day after to his son's account. Of course 1) Tony's license plate was Dow 0, so that mindset wasn't at all tied to 9/11, and 2) he had initiated the transfer of funds to his son the day before; it just posted the day after. So they then did a big oopsie and sentenced him to a dozen years in prison based on the cumulative so-called insider trades of all his club followers, not his own trades.

BTW, note the product placement of John Emshwiller's book. Tony was featured in one chapter and I in another. Our chapters were not related.

P.S. Still waiting for People Magazine to call. But, then again, I wasn't single at the time. :)
