The only times I've used my phone to induce sleep was either when the cable was out, or when I was in the hospital.

It's a great backup device for situations like that. Except in the hospital, the earbud wasn't quite secure. I'd need a different style to keep it in place. I haven't bothered looking for one because I don't use my phone's earpiece at all otherwise.

My selections are all over the map. I prefer someone only speaking with no background or intro/outro music.
