Has human nature changed yet?
We would like to think we are better today, we don't need slaves so much. Machines are a double edged blade, can work both for you and against you.
If we value our fellow human beings, why put them out of work? If it "saves money" putting them out of work it means we pick up welfare cases. Something is not right about that. Same with illegal immigration, it's not a win.
There seems to be some religious and racial superiority chit going on from several directions.
I think silent disapproval can work over time. If you push against any particular direction it means your are either a criminal or a terrorist, maybe both in the eyes of the various actors in authority.
The Orange man is doing his job. I think few can argue about that. It will probably start a recession, but a real economy is better then a fake bubble imho. We need a future.
Trump the Environmentalist?
<<After taking office last month, Trump signed an executive order pausing all wind energy projects in the US.
“The wind blows, and then it doesn’t blow,” he later told Fox News.
“The things cost a fortune. They’re made in China, and they kill the birds, and they’re horrible.”>>
The counter argument is good, we need a lot more of that. Real conversation, not what some James Bond Super Villain dictates at the WEF.
