You think as recent as 2008?

I'm thinking mid 1990's and things were getting out of hand even then.

OTC derivatives and all that, who knows what is buried in all that lot ? Nothing good is my expectation, as someone needed to make a fast buck at the time, whilst keeping a lid on disasters in the making.
