My point is to counter your erroneous suggestion that the NASDAQ ETF is a falling knife, a suggestion that borders on the silly

NASDAQ has handily outperformed gold over time.

Even your son, a youngster, seems to get it as I seem to recall that he wisely bought NVDA. He perhaps sold it. If so, he should get back in. By the time he’s 18, it will be worth a whole lot more than an equivalent sum invested in gold.

If you wish to buy a stock that will appreciate possibly more than NVDA, PLTR is the ticket. But you might have political trouble purchasing a stock that does a lot of business with the USA Defense Department. Or wait for Anduril’s IPO, though the politics of a Hong Kong/Freedom Rock resident owning Anduril are indeed dicey.

Except for a little paper gold and a few coins, I am very glad to have rotated out of gold.

I’m not a masochist.

As I said, whatever floats your boat is fine with me.
