CALM. I up my small position in this egg producer.

CALM has fallen somewhat from its recent highs.
Earnings have been up because egg prices are up. Bird-flu here obviously causing hen reductions.

Stock might be fairly valued, not particularly undervalued, but I see good things ahead.

Ozempic/GLP-1. My understanding is that if somebody's on this popular drug type, their doctor is/should be advising them to maintain/increase their protein intake, so that muscles/strength, doesn't deteriorate. That recommendation likely - maybe specifically - might be to increase egg consumption. For weight loss/diabetes control, etc. ozempic needs to be routinely used. So maybe egg consumption needs to be routinely included in these people's diets.

I've read that CALM controls 20% of the US egg market. I like the way CALM has been managed and has grown through acquisitions at favorable times (when egg market is down). Bird flu will be solved (I hope/believe), the hen population will increase, egg prices will fall, and maybe CALM earnings and stock price too. Otoh, I want to be in the stock because I believe I can see egg demand continue to increase with people using these weight loss/diabetes drugs.
