Here's the direct Tom's Hardware page on IDTI:

It reads as if it's old tests. Unfortunately he doesn't state just what power savings there might be. He does give wattage, but doesn't give the competitions'. I have found that the C6 will probably work in my laptop, but haven't found if the voltage is correct for my machine yet. One more call to the factory should confirm the present processor voltage.
