<It took me ten hours to wipe out the windows directory, reinstall Windows 95 with a pristine registry and then reinstall all of his commonly used software so that the registry new about the software again. DON'T mess with anything you don't have to..EVER!!> Or like Chef said in Apocalypse Now after getting chased by a tiger: "Never get off the boat! Never get off the f*ckin' boat!" Unless you have a full-partition backup. And don't erase it for weeks. And keep notes on what you do in the meantime since the most insidious registry problems are the ones you find weeks after the damage occurs. But I notice MSFT is up big today, so it works for them!
