My earlier indictment of your vulgarity? I don't believe I thought you were particularly vulgar, Ignacio. My problems with your previous style had much more to do with arrogance and the inability to at least listen politely to the opinions of others. While I see little vestiges of this, the intensity has abated, and we will just see what happens.
Our merry struggle for escalating disclosures? I spilled my heart out all over these threads a long time ago, barely survived the experience, and am hopefully finished with disclosures, having finally achieved some happiness after fighting for it fiercely. I don't think you ever revealed anything of a personal nature at all here, and frankly it is refreshing to get a private glimpse of a man whose life experience, like most of ours, is fraught with vulnerabilities, sensitivities, even failures.
Since you brought up the subject, are you saying that the failure of your relationship made you really raw, emotionally speaking? I wrote a lot of poetry in a similar state, so I bet your writing was very real. Best wishes to you in getting published!!
