While searching for new music online, I came across a 30-Day Song Challenge and found the concept interesting. It got me thinking—what if the challenge was limited to progressive rock music only? I reached out to the author, and they kindly gave me permission to run it here.

Since today is March 1, let's kick things off and see how it goes!

Day 1/30: A song you like with a color in the title

An easy choice for me is King Crimson – Red. I love the distorted guitar work. The entire album is fantastic!

King Crimson - Red (Live At The Warfield Theatre, San Francisco, CA.1995)

If I were to indulge a little, I might have picked Electric Light Orchestra – Mr. Blue Sky. While ELO isn't recognized as a prog band, this song definitely has some progressive elements in it.

Jeff Lynne's ELO - Mr. Blue Sky (Live at Wembley Stadium 2017)

Here’s the full challenge list—feel free to join in and share your picks!

Thanks to Cathy at Micqu.org for sharing this and allowing me to use it here. You can check out the original challenge at: Micqu.org
