I am no expert, but this is what I would do. With the Netscape page up, try going into "Edit," then "Preferences," then "Navigator," then "Applications." Then remove "AOL Instant Messenger Launch." Then you must delete it from your desktop programs in the Communicator folder. I'd run Windows Explorer to make certain you killed the whole deal. I'm not certain this will work, but its a start.
