30-Day Progressive Rock Song Challenge continued...5/30

Day 5: A song that needs to be played loud

I gave this one some thought. I listen to music all day so I had to focus on songs that make me want to turn the volume up. For that reason my choice for today is Anathema - Internal Landscapes



Internal Landscapes is such an emotionally charged and powerful song. I love how the song builds throughout and at around the 5-minute mark, it really takes off with layers of guitars, orchestration, and deep reverb. Vincent’s vocals add even more to the intensity. Playing it loud makes the experience even better.
