I attended a Bon Voyage party in Big D this weekend for my niece.....
she is moving to a foreign country, so we had to "send" her off in proper style.
AS she is single, pretty, intelligent, witty, etc. , the party was right at home for an ol lounge lizard like me.
Some of her high school friends (fellow members of the drill team ), some of her college friends ( fellow DG members),
some of her coworkers (fellow legislature aides)
were in attendance and most all of them were single, pretty, intelligent, witty, etc ..... she is female and most of the attendees were female..........
I really felt as if had died and gone to heaven and golly gee was I feeling good and happy and carefree and .................
This feeling seemed to last for as long as I made no eye contact with my wife of 35 years........gggggggg
BTW, this foreign land to which she is moving is Boston.
She's gonna work for some state leg member from there.
I did catch the ref to Tin Cup in your last post and not everyone down here in Texas drives Ford 150s to the drive in.... some of us have Studes and Willys and Chevys and Goats...... and the hoi poli drive Suburbans.....>>>VBG<<<
